Our Last Few Days in Mazatlan (for now)

Sunset over the ocean in Mazatlan Mexico

We leave Wednesday for home. It has been a wonderful trip and we’ve had some great visits with friends. I’m amazed that we won’t have missed too many people! We have decided that we need to visit more often. I think adding crashing waves and beautiful sunsets make life even better than it already was, don’t you?

We’ve gone to the Saturday Organic Market (at Plaza Zaragoza) several times – just like we always did when we lived here. It’s a great place to eat breakfast, have a coffee, buy food for the week and visit with friends. A few pictures are below.

Paul and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary while we’ve been here. We cleaned up pretty well, I think! We like to go to Casa 46 for the ambiance even though the food and service isn’t as good as some other options… it is just so fun to look over the Plazuela from such a romantic spot. I have loved the property since forever – here is a blog post where I include a few pictures of my visit to it when it was a museum.

I wonder how many sunset pictures I’ve posted over the years? The other night we sat on the wall watching for an hour and then went over to Rico’s for a beer and a coffee. So nice, so Mazatlán.

We have a couple more get togethers planned and then it will be time to clean the house and pack the car. I’ll post a link to the house for sale information once it is online if you know anyone wanting a small house in a great location! And the sooner it sells, the sooner I can come back – to sign the papers and hopefully watch a few more sunsets.
