We flew to México City at the end of October for a couple of weeks, and it was our good luck to be there for El Dia de los Muertos!  What fun we had! Fun Parade for Day of the Dead in Mexico City

A couple of hours after arriving in México City we met our son and the family to go to the Día da de Los Muertos parade on Paseo de la Reforma. I have never seen so many people dressed up as catrinas in one place! Children, dogs, entire families were dressed up with amazingly intricate face and body paint. Day of the Dead in Mazatlán

There are so many wonderful holidays here in Mazatlán.  How could I possibly choose a favorite?  I love Moto Week and of course Carnaval, but what about Semana Santa – or El Dia de la Musica?  Every event is celebrated with a parade and fireworks, por supuesto!
