Un Solo Mazatlán Por Ti

November 20, 2017

Mazatlán is really trying to improve life for its citizens.  We have seen a lot of improvements around town to the infrastructure as well as things like removing old cars, paving streets, and better garbage collection.

The latest improvement seems to be (yes I am a bit cautious here) an app for smartphones that allows Mazatlecos to report things to the city such as garbage, street lights out, etc. You put a pin on a map for where the problem is, and can attach pictures and add a personal note if you like. I reported several things and the app lets you check on the status of your reported issues.

A friend used it with success and I am hopeful my issues will be looked into as well.

Here are the links for android phones and iPhones.

    1. We just walked down a street near us and were thrilled to see the derelict cars there had been removed!
