It’s high time to check in with family in Mexico City… as you can see our granddaughter is growing fast – she is already driving! I plan on posting while we’re gone (no snarky comments please at my lack of posting lately!) and will surely take lots of pictures.
But our main purpose for visiting is to have some time to visit with family and enjoy a bit of fall weather. See you soon!

October 3, 2014I love that photograph. It is another reminder of why Mexico reminds me of my childhood.

October 4, 2014Reminds me of letting my 14-yr old niece Lisa learn to drive my stick-shift Hyundai and when her younger sister Amanda reached the same age, I let her drive my Cadillac Allante…their mother/my sister was NOT pleased, but neither was MY mother when my uncle/her brother let me (at 13 or 14) drive his ’56 lavender Lincoln convertible, looking between the steering wheel and the dashboard. COOL PICTURE.

October 4, 2014Sandy, Thank you, we are having a great time!
Steve, Thank you.
Les, I love your story! Consuelo is sitting on her dad’s lap and driving on a country road out in Tepotzlan… she is almost six years old.
