Our newest pack member, Coco, is about a year old now, and has been living with us since June. She has a delightful personality, and we love her to bits! Henry and she are best buddies and wrestle and play and sleep together all day long.
But at night, Coco crashes out. If we sit down to watch TV she hurls herself at one of us (usually Paul as I like to knit) and conks out almost immediately.
She crashes so hard that it reminds me of having a baby in the house – do you remember when you could pick them up and move them somewhere else and they stay asleep so hard you can’t believe it?
Sometimes if she conks out on me I move her over to Paul’s lap without an eye even opening.
I think when you run and play so hard all day you are just all tuckered out at night. I hope you enjoyed a few photos of Crashed Out Coco!

January 31, 2011Your description of her is hilarious! I can just picture it. ZOOM ZOOM ZOOM Drop.
Coco looks a lot like our dog that we had to put down this past Oct.

February 1, 2011she’s precious! I love how she sleeps so soundly, my dogs always have an ear open for something that needs investigating. The kitten though, he crashes and flops wherever he is.

February 3, 2011Dogs have a clear conscience-kind of like a little kid. The other morning I woke up at 3:00 and couldn’t go back to sleep. I had to throw my Westie out of my recliner, but I had to go find her a quilt to sleep under since she had just been clipped and she was trying to crawl under the couch cushions and it was -15 F!

February 4, 2011A heads-up for the knitters…www.theeagle.com has an article re. a shop in Navasota TX which might be a resource for you. It is 20 miles from where I live and who knows, maybe one day I’ll drive to Mazatlan and hand-deliver your yarn orders ; – )

February 4, 2011I’m sure you’ve discovered that most dogs in Mexico aren’t treated the way we Americans treat them. Coco knows she’s got a good thing and has sweet dreams about it often. 🙂

February 5, 2011Like baby pictures and Lay’s potato chips, you can’t have too many and certainly can’t stop with one! Coco was a perfect choice.
