Painting the town …

January 10, 2010

There are some very talented urban artists here in Mazatlán.  Last week we were walking down Mariano Escobedo and watched several artists working on a ruin.  This was broad daylight and they signed the work, so we believe that the property owner gave his permission.  So without further ado, here are pictures of the new work.

There are more Mazatlán urban art pictures here, taken over the last few years.

      1. Steve, Mazatlan is a creative town, no doubt.

Leobardo, Sorry about that! They are wonderful, aren’t they? A question for you… Paul and I have been trying to figure out the words to the GasPasa song… can you help us?
Gas Pasa… Gas Pasa… entregan en su casa … (we think) but we can’t make out anything else!

    1. Song, Nancy? Song invites visions of tapping feet, pencil drumming on desk, humming to one’s self. Gas, Gas Pasa….really now. We will have to expand your musical meanderings.

By the way, what is the name again of that fabulous guitar duo? (man/woman..flying fingers) They blow me away and I want to download them.

I ordered my new Dell today…

      1. Zoe, Ok, maybe it’s just a jingle… but it is driving me crazy. Congrats on the new computer. The duo is Rodrigo y Gabriela. Listening to them right now!

      1. Thanks, Leobardo! BUt I am still working on the rest of the song!

    1. I’ve noticed this mural too and I LOVE IT! Do you know what the artist’s name is?
