Last night we went to the very first Murder Mystery Dinner Theater in Mazatlán. Held in the courtyard of Casa de Leyendas B & B it was a very fun evening. The food and drink was excellent (they even have a vegetarian offering!) and I know we all had a good time.
Having never attended one of these before I didn’t know exactly what to expect but the (Mazatlán centered) story was good and those of us who didn’t act a part had as much fun as those who did, I think. Being their opening night there were a couple of bumps but they were minor. Congratulations to Wendy and Bodie and to Casa de Leyendas for partnering on this new Monday night offering.

January 14, 2015I love mystery theater nights — both as an actor and an audience member. A group of us have been considering starting a readers’ theater in Melaque. You just gave me an even better idea.

January 14, 2015Well this is certainly one of the most beautifully presented reviews we will ever get. We were honoured to have you there for the opening show, and surprised and certainly flattered that you have made our intimate weekly show into a subject for your wonderful page. Our only disappointment was that you didn’t step forward to play a role as a suspect. We could have made you into the killer!

January 14, 2015Oh how lovely! Nancy I haven’t heard a word about this until seeing this post. Hopefully they will be advertising somewhere. What was the veggie meal?

January 14, 2015Steve, We have a small theater company doing playreadings, and now this! Pretty cool.
Wendy, Thank you! And thank you so much for all your effort – you have truly created something amazing.
Contessa, There has been plenty of chatter about it on Facebook, but click on the link on the name and you’ll go to their website where you can learn more. The vegie meal was spaghetti with red sauce and garlic bread. All meals came with a super nice salad and dessert.
