Life in Mazatlán

May 4, 2012

Life here is good.  For the ice cream seller every Sunday on the beach to teenagers enjoying the water on their boogie boards.  It’s all good.

The video below is from last Friday.  It was around 6 pm and the schools were going to be closed both Monday and Tuesday.  A large group didn’t waste any time getting their boards and getting into the water.  Pretty nice.  As with any videos, you can adjust the quality once you’ve clicked Play by clicking the gear icon on the right side of the video border.

The next video is from last Sunday.  We took a long walk and at one point I stopped and scanned the scene.  I love that within a few minutes of our house we have a five mile long malecón that always makes for an enjoyable walk.

The weather here is getting warmer – everyone is talking about how early it is this year.  But for me it isn’t hot until it’s too hot to sleep without the air conditioner on, and hopefully that will be some weeks in the future.

I hope you are enjoying some beautiful spring weather, where ever you are!

    1. Nancy, Thank you again for posting the pictures and vireos I love to see! Enjoy your early summer down there – we are still rainy and quite cool here in western Washington.

    1. Interesting that your heat is coming sooner and ours is way behind. Such is fickle Mother Nature. Did you get some moon shots last night?

      1. Terry, You are so welcome! I try to think about what I’d like to see if I wasn’t currently living here.

Contessa, We’ve been having clouds, too – a very summery kind of weather. No supermoon shots for me with my dinky little camera…
