June 1, 2008Dogs can adapt to anything, as long as their pack does it together.
They love us being retired – and therefore at their service more, and now know how to do their business on our schedule, on concrete.
Now if we could only get Lucy to only bark once when someone comes to the door instead of the entire time we are heading to the door to answer it.

June 1, 2008I agree with your pack comment…all through our trip to Mexico City Sitka was happy as long as she got a bathroom break and food when we did.
And here in Mexico City she seems to understand that we will be back from the school as soon as we can and the first thing we do is take her out to run, play and do her business. Good doggie!

June 2, 2008i noticed that cynthia commented on your post on sat. if you have not already read her sunday post, please do so. they are facing some complications and are asking for advice so perhaps you can give them some ideas. i know you gave them a lot of suggestions on their move.
